How to Play
Bollywood Charades is an offline party game for two teams. One player acts out a Bollywood movie title — no talking — while their team tries to guess it before the timer runs out.
1. Pick a timer (30, 60, or 90 seconds) and a difficulty level — Easy, Medium, or Hard.
2. Team A goes first. The actor sees the movie title on screen and starts acting.
3. If the team guesses correctly, tap Mark as Guessed to score a point.
4. If the movie is too hard or doesn't suit, tap Next Movie to skip — no point is awarded.
5. Teams alternate rounds. The team with the most points wins!
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the app need an internet connection?
No. Bollywood Charades works fully offline. All 744 movies are bundled inside the app — no downloads or sign-ins required.
What does "Same Team, New Movie" mean?
When a round is skipped, you can give the same team another chance with a different movie instead of switching to the other team. Useful when the skipped movie was unsuitable rather than too hard.
What are the difficulty levels?
Easy — widely recognised blockbusters and classics (e.g. Sholay, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, 3 Idiots).
Medium — popular films that most Bollywood fans know but not everyone will.
Hard — for the serious film buff. Challenging but always a real movie.
Will movies repeat during a game?
No. The app keeps track of every movie shown and will not repeat one until all movies at that difficulty level have been used. When the list resets, you'll see a notification.
What does "New Game" do?
New Game resets all scores, clears the used-movie history, and returns to the Home screen so you can start fresh with a new difficulty or timer setting.
How many movies are in the app?
744 Hindi/Bollywood movies from 1960 through 2025, spread across Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty levels.
Can I suggest a movie to be added?
